You really don't need to read all of this!

This is me rambling and thinking out loud, me showing how incapable I am at making decisions, me trying to be funny and failing and generating laughs just from my ramblingness...beware of sudden subject changes...I write as I think...

Hi

I was on the phone with ITS for at least 20 minutes today, but now I can get on the internet with my computer!!!! My HONS training is going well!!!! It's drizzling here. It's cool out and boiling in. People here are cold blooded, so we need to overheat the buildings!! This time of year we don't use heat at my house!! I never get to use sweatshirts or sweaters or warm clothing here. Sigh!! But I'll live. I have a view of the mountains from my room, and the morning sun comes in really strong!!! I can also see people as they walk up the driveway!!! Training is interesting, some people are complaining, but I'm easily entertained!! Some of it is more self explanatory than other bits. This is a way to refresh and put everything we know in order, even if we know a lot of it already...what different offices on campus do, how to be a leader, build house community!!! And...did I say...I have first-years!!!!!

It's over

Camp is over, which is happy and sad...I'll miss my kids, but now I can concentrate on getting ready to go back to school. I need to write and send my HONS letters. AHHHH!!! I'm running late.

ONE WEEK to go!!!!

There's one more week of camp! I can't believe it. It will be exciting, but I know I'll miss all of my kids. Kids are funny...one minute they hate you, the next they want to hold your hand. There are some who drove me insane at the beginning of the summer, but who now I do like: in other words, there really aren't any who I don't like. There is really no way not to find them all interesting, amusing, endearing in their own ways!!!!

I skipped Jessica's early birthday celebration (dinner) because of my cold... went up Hartley Hill w/ the girls, but I'm still sick and it's going to be 40 degrees tonight, so I'm skipping the camp out...and am sad... and I have my early birthday party on Sunday and have to rest up, clean, prepare etc.

I'm having second thoughts about dropping French. I love French...I had just decided that I'm sick of doing French home work... but I'd love to go to France and learn French...but I need to keep with French to do that during school....do I want three languages? NO. Sigh...what am I going to do. Plus... do I want my car at school...I was going to, but it costs money, and it's another responsibility. ???
