You really don't need to read all of this!

This is me rambling and thinking out loud, me showing how incapable I am at making decisions, me trying to be funny and failing and generating laughs just from my ramblingness...beware of sudden subject changes...I write as I think...

I'm Bored

It's Christmas, and I'm bored. Though we had Hanukkah begin tonight...I got three CD's of good classical study music!!!!!!!!! Bach, Copland and something else.

Suggestion: New Years-
If Katie won't have a party than we are having one at my house. It will still be Hanukkah and we will make latkas, watch movies, play in the snow, whatever, and exchange holiday presents...I made yours yesterday and today, and I have Birthday presents for Myles and Katie too, to be given out at that time. I already have parental approval for this party. Now all we need is Katie to tell us what her plans are. I'm thinking there will be me, Katie, Myles, Laurel, Jess, Ashley...and anyone else who anyone else sees fit to invite. I have no idea when people will see this message, or if Myles will...we'll talk before then, I'm sure.

Italics are sooo cool, when I reamember about them!!!
So- hope everyone had a good Christmas...It's sooo weird to be on break...

There is no point being home and missing people at school, when I'm missing people here....why am I bothering to be home when I"m not hanging out wit people here either? I know, I know, I did watch the girls leaving Parsons, I missed people then, and wouldn't be happy in my house by myself at school either.

I really should go to bed.

G'night, and a Merry Christmas to you all!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Eve

I say we exchange gifts at the New Year, and we come to my house...my mom asked me if we wanted to come here...so it must be ok...my family will now go to the Joy Wah for our annual Jewish Christmas meal...(Traditionally Jews go Chinese because Chinese restaurants are open on Christmas and we get bored.) Then we'll drive through Westminster. Robin, my old GS leader came by unexpectidly with food and a card!!!!! Well, have fun, I'll talk to everyone after the holiday!!! Happy Birthday Myles, hummm...I need to get Myles and Katie Birthday Presents.

The Sun Is Going Down

It's an interesting thing to notice when you've only been awake for about 15- 20 minutes. I went to bed at 5 or 6...I think 6 this morning...I got half my paper done and had no more to say. Finally at 2 in the morning when I came back from the K I started working on it. I got a little done at the K but it was fun, sitting there late into the night with Molly, Angela and Caitlin...who you see in that left to right order. In this picure is the opposite of what I see now...they watched the sunrise...I wanted to but that was the day of Wicked.I usually hit snooze on my alarm clock, this irritates my roommate, unless we both keep hiting our snooze buttons...now I'm so used to her alarm that I keep thinking it's mine, though they sound nothing alike! Anyway...I turned it off, she says, but she didn't know what my plans were, she went to bed way before me...and was studying for her final as I went back to sleep this morning...I woke up at 9:02 am...my esay, I'd spent all night on was due at 9:00. I've never done that kind of thing before and it's scary, who wants your grade dropped. So, I called my proffessor...luckily she wasn't angry. I threw on some clothes and my glasses, walked over to her office in the library, handed it to her, went home and went to bed.

Latkas

So...I spent about four hours helping to make latkas...I got to bed by 12:30 ...because we needed more help the two K cooks didn't finish until four in the morning...(We started at four pm)...I went from 7:30 until 11:30...but had to get home and to bed because I had my ballet danced exam...which I think went pretty well. My French exam piece also went ok. I have two small review sessions, but mostly.....my classes are over...we had a party in chorus and gave and got secret gifts...I got candy...what I don't want...though it's yummy candy...I have to not eat it, that's all..I eat too much junk...I can't wait to go haome and have healthy food. WEfinnished watching A Funny Thing....Forum in History which we started on Monday becuase when we are up late writing papers he knows it and lets us have a brain break the next day. I saw Sue Jensen in Cutter-Z. at dinner and said hi to her/introduced myself...she sortof knew who I was I think. She is in Talbot, where my friend Molly lives, not too far from me. All three BF girls are not in the Quad....does that show something about us being serious students, or something? (Not that all girls in my house are serious.) That was cool. This was my third time seeing her, but I hadn't gotten a chance to say hi..which I felt I should do at some point. She asked how I liked it, etc.
I am amused how "What house are you in?" is the second question any of us at Smith will ask after confirming names!!

Wicked and Other Matters

So...I went with Katie's dad and sister and brother to Hartford today. The show is awsume, of course. I ended up sitting between Allegra and Stanley Jr. (I have been corrected by the Rumrill girls-Stanley III) I love this show sooooooo much.
I have to get a realy copy of the CD, and a poster, and I want to see it on Broadway some day...and I really hope you girls can see it at some point.

What were the "other matters" I was going to talk about? I have four more days of classes! It's pretty scary!!

I've had a good, busy week, sorry about not posting in a week and a half, or whatever. I stayed up till three talking to my house friend Lauren...I love long late night conversations when you are falling asleep, but can say anything, and you just keep talking, and talking.

I'm looking forward to latka making and a Hannukkah party next week!!!!!!

Hope everyone is well, fairly happy, and being productive!! Have a good rest of the weekend....relax a little, if possible...get stressed, if necessary, if it will help you accomplish a lot!!

All my love.

Good night
Sleep tight
Don't let the bed bugs bite
Wake up bright
In the morning light
To do what's right
With all your might.

J-Term

I'm coming back for J-Term...I'm on the waitlist for Mythology of Wales and Ireland, and I'm in a class taught by the Rabbi, and I'm taking a two week course on handbells!!!!! I've signed up for it with Lauren, from my house. We, who will be at Parsons for J-Term, have grand plans for camping out in the livingroom, dancing, playing music, starting a band, seeing the town etc.!!!!!

I don't approve of my house's Winter Weekend Party theme: America's Next Ttop Parsonite... I am not one of the TV addicted Parsonites, and I don't want to dress up as a model and compete, or whatever we are doing. I was looking forward to going to the K. Humph. But I can't miss the party.

Hope this week back was not too tramatizing for everyone. Can't wait till we're altogether again, celebrating Katie's 19th birthday. Sigh, we are all getting so old!!! I miss being 18, though I usually don't think about my age. 18 is 18.

I really should do some work today!!

I finnally walked to main street and went shopping...I now have black socks for the upcoming chorus concert!!! I also have an umbrella that is new and not broken!!

Au revoir!!
